The Toubkal Express – 2-Day Ascent is designed for active adventurers who want to experience the magic of the High Atlas in a short but intense journey. Beginning in Marrakech, the route takes you through the picturesque Mizane Valley, passing Berber villages such as Aremd and the sacred shrine of Sidi Chamharouch.
Your first day ends at the Toubkal Refuge (3,207 m), where you’ll rest before tackling the summit. On the second day, an early start leads you to the top of Mount Toubkal (4,167 m), the highest peak in North Africa. From the summit ridge, enjoy spectacular views over the High Atlas, the Anti-Atlas, and even the edge of the Sahara Desert.
After celebrating your achievement, descend back to Imlil and return to Marrakech in the late afternoon. This trek is ideal for well-prepared travelers with limited time, offering both cultural encounters and breathtaking alpine scenery.
