This 10-day expedition offers an unforgettable Moroccan adventure from the peaks of the High Atlas to the heart of the Sahara Desert. Begin in the Atlas Mountains, trekking through terraced farmland, juniper forests, and traditional Berber villages, before ascending Mount Toubkal (4,167 m), the highest point in North Africa.
After celebrating your summit, descend to Imlil and embark on a desert journey through the Drâa Valley to M’Hamid. Traverse sand dunes, rocky plateaus, and desert oases by camel caravan, visiting nomadic families and ancient ksour along the way. Witness spectacular sunsets over the “singing dunes” of Erg Zahar, explore Erg Smar, and finally reach the majestic Erg Chegaga dunes.
This adventure includes experienced mountain and desert guides, mule and camel transport for luggage, comfortable bivouacs and guesthouses, traditional Moroccan meals, and all logistics for a safe and immersive journey. It’s perfect for travelers seeking both mountain challenges and desert serenity.
