This 8-day MTB circuit offers a unique experience combining adventure, culture, and Morocco’s stunning contrasts. You will cross High Atlas passes and valleys, meet Berber villagers and nomads, explore historic kasbahs, and ride through lush palm groves.

Along the way, enjoy authentic experiences: share mint tea with locals, witness traditional rose distillation in the Valley of Roses, and explore the volcanic landscapes of Jbel Saghro before reaching the Sahara dunes. Overnight stays include local homes, auberges, and desert bivouacs for full immersion.

This tour is designed for MTB enthusiasts and those passionate about culture and nature, offering the perfect balance of physical challenge, discovery, and meaningful encounters with local communities.

Tour Plan

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech
      • Arrival at Marrakech airport, transfer to riad/hotel.

      • Free time to explore Jemaa El Fna square and local souks.

      • Briefing on the tour and bike preparation.

      • Overnight in a traditional riad.

Day 2: Marrakech → Tizi N’Tichka Pass → Telouet Valley
      • Drive through the High Atlas via Tizi N’Tichka Pass (2,260 m).

      • MTB ride through mountain trails and Berber villages (e.g., Anemiter).

      • Visit Telouet Kasbah, former palace of the Southern Pasha.

      • Overnight in a traditional guesthouse in Telouet.

Day 3: Telouet → Ounila Valley → Aït Benhaddou → Ouarzazate → Toundout
      • MTB ride through Ounila Valley and traditional mud-brick villages.

      • Stop at Aït Benhaddou Kasbah (UNESCO) and Ouarzazate.

      • Ride to Toundout, known for rose cultivation and friendly locals.

      • Overnight with a local family or auberge.

Day 4: Toundout → Azaghar N’Yigre Plateaus → Almdoune Valley → Valley of Roses → Boutghrar
    • Ride across semi-arid plateaus and meet Aït Atta nomads.

    • Descend into Almdoune Valley and the famous Valley of Roses (Kelaat M’Gouna).

    • Share lunch and tea with local families.

    • Overnight in local auberge or with a host family.

Day 5: Boutghrar → Targua Plateau → Dadès Valley → Aït Youl
    • MTB ride across Targua Plateau, panoramic views and nomad encounters.

    • Descend into Dadès Valley, with its deep gorges and mud-brick kasbahs.

    • Overnight in traditional auberge at Aït Youl.

Day 6: Aït Youl → Jbel Saghro Massif → N’Kob
      • MTB ride through volcanic Jbel Saghro, “mountain desert” landscapes.

      • Meet Aït Atta tribe, share tea and learn about their pastoral traditions.

      • Arrive in N’Kob, overnight in kasbah or auberge.

Day 7: N’Kob → Drâa Valley → Marrakech
    • Vehicle transfer through Drâa Valley with huge palm groves and fortified villages (ksour).

    • Optional visit to traditional souks and local crafts.

    • Arrival in Marrakech, free time to explore the medina.

    • Overnight in riad or hotel.

Day 8: Departure from Marrakech
    • Airport transfer according to flight schedule.

    • Optional last-minute shopping in the medina.

    • End of the tour.
